Bathtubs work magic on crabby children. Except Ellie. She just gets mad. When one child naps, another awakes. Connor often wakes Ellie to play. Tired Ellie sounds like dying Pac-Man. Connor tell us when he’s sleepy. Grace fights sleep like I did. They want to be near me. Except when they really really don’t. I want to be near them. Except when I really really don’t.
