Me: It was really good that you told Dad right away when Connor tried to run into the street.
Grace: Well he IS my little brother. I love him. That’s why I squeeze him so much.
Grace naming the six kids in her belly: Red, pink, purple, maroon, Westpfahl and Eighteen.
Connor naming his kid: Red glass
Connor, carrying his fireman gear: There is something stuck on our roof. I need to get it down.
Me: What is it?
Connor: A tiny, little girl.
Grace: Mom, there are three things I love more than you. The pool, Simone (her bff) and Ellie.
Visiting 4-year-old friend: Jen, your house is smaller than mine.
Me: I know.
Friend: Your table is really small too. Ours is long and has lots of chairs.
Me: Yes, it’s a tiny table.
Friend: I know why it’s smaller. You have less people.
Me: Well, actually, we have five people in our family just like you.
Friend: Oh.
* The first two have been hanging around in my “drafts” folder for quite a while. The others were recent. I wish I got more of their cute quotes down in writing but I don’t, despite this awesome journal I got from a friend.

I really should be better about writing down the things my daughter says! I love reading the things that come out of kids mouths! Thanks for the inspiration to do that!
At least you got some of the quotes down. I try to catch those moments too.
A tiny, little girl…hahahaha I love it!!
